The "before" photograph on the left shows a technical success, with the teeth being straight, but an aesthetic failure. The porcelain fused to the metal crown reflects light, causing the tooth to appear dull, opaque, and slightly discolored.

In the "after" photograph, we have a technical and aesthetic success. Dr. Garcia has replaced the original crown with an Empress crown, which is porcelain fused with ceramic cast glass. The Empress absorbs light, making the tooth more natural and translucent. This is extremely strong when used properly.
